Yas Island, about 30 minutes from central Abu Dhabi, has Ferrari World, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld and Yas Marina Circuit. Choose two parks per trip, go on weekdays, and keep an evening for the waterfront.
How to choose
The island is built for a day each, so trying to do more than one park per day wastes the ticket. Ferrari World is the most thrill-led, built around fast rides under a red roof. Warner Bros. World is indoor and air-conditioned, which makes it the summer and young-family choice. SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is a marine-life park with large indoor habitats, and Yas Waterworld is the cooling option in warm months. Yas Marina Circuit also runs tours and driving experiences outside race week.
A sensible plan for a short stay is one thrill park and one calmer day, or a park and the waterfront. For a first visit with young children, go indoor-first.
Timing
Weekdays are much calmer than weekends, and the cooler months suit the outdoor parks. Avoid Grand Prix week (3 to 6 December 2026) unless you are there for it: hotels and roads are at their busiest. Arrive at opening, ride the headline attractions first and eat before the lunchtime queue.
Getting there and staying
Yas is roughly 30 minutes from central Abu Dhabi and close to the airport. Taxis and ride-hailing are simple; hotels on the island let you walk or shuttle to parks. For a long evening afterwards, a quieter alternative to the island is a private evening in the desert. If you are planning a group day, our Yas Island group guides cover booking and logistics.
