The short version

Global Village is Dubai's seasonal open-air fair: pavilions styled after dozens of countries, a large funfair, nightly shows and a lot of food. Season 31 opened on Wednesday 14 October 2026 under the theme “A More Wonderful World” and runs for more than seven months, until May 2027. The closing date had not been announced when this page was checked.

Hours and tickets

Reported hours are 4pm to midnight from Monday to Thursday and 4pm to 1am on weekends. General entry is Dh25 on weekdays and Dh30 from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays, the same as last season, with the weekend rate applying to tickets bought on a Sunday. Children under three, adults aged 65 and over and people of determination enter free. VIP packs are sold separately in limited numbers and start much higher; check the official site for what they include.

Tickets can be bought on the Global Village website and app and at the gates.

Getting there and parking

Free parking lots are available around the site; paid and VIP zones cost more and sit closer to the entrance. Four public bus routes serve the venue: 102 from CentrePoint Metro, 103 from Union Metro, 104 from Ghubaiba Bus Station and 106 from Mall of Emirates Metro, typically running from about 3:15pm to 11:15pm with roughly a 30-minute journey. For route and timetable queries, the RTA line is 800 9090.

Getting the most from an evening

Arrive when it opens at 4pm. The pavilions are calmest in the first two hours, queues for rides are short, and the light is good for photographs. By 8pm on a Thursday or Friday the walkways are shoulder to shoulder.

Returning favourites this season include Gardens of the World, linking the Egypt and China pavilions, Dragon Kingdom, a walk-through with eleven themed rooms, and the indoor Little Wonderers children's park. The organisers had not named the new attractions when this page was checked.

House rules worth knowing: scooters, bicycles, skateboards, hoverboards and similar are not allowed, pets are not allowed, modest dress is expected and filming needs a permit.
